This fabulous looking box pressed perfecto, with its oily sheen maduro wrapper was moist to feel and had a wonderful bouquet of earth and cedar.
The perfecto end was extremely easy to light and made for a very even burn to start. In the first third of the cigar it was an easy draw providing medium to full body spice and earth notes to start, working into a rich, full body leather and spice with hints of espresso. A pleasant aroma with heavy white smoke filling the air, the cigar produced an almost pure white ash that didn’t fall till reaching the half way point.
During the second third, it became the reverse of most Padron cigars where the spice and leather started to mellow and the cigar began to take on a mild to medium body with more luxurious flavours of coffee, earth and cocoa bean with mixed spices apparent.
Towards the end third of the cigar, the cigar began to get more medium to full bodied with still the wonderful rich flavours of dark chocolate, spice, earth and leather that are synonymous with all Padron cigars.
The finish was long and full bodied with strong flavours of spice, cedar and earth.
The perfecto foot, lit well without cutting, the draw was easy and the burn perfect. This cigar would definitely be rated as one of the most decadent cigars of the future. A true and rare beauty in the world of cigars.
